We would like to send out a big thanks to The Derryfield School (www.derryfield.org) for having their 10th grade overnight retreat at Birch Hill.  From September 1st through the 2nd the class of about seventy boys and girls plus their teachers took over the camp and had a great time.

We led the group through some ice-breakers and games first, then into intense rounds of Ultimate Frisbee and Dodgeball.  In the afternoon we had a Birch Hill Beach Party down by the water and the Derryfield group discovered the fun which is the water trampoline and BLOB!  A little bit of capture the flag, some cabin cheers, and a massive bonfire rounded out their stay, along with Rich’s famous pancakes.

We wish them all a successful school year and hope to have their students and faculty back at camp next year!
